I asked Dominique yesterday for an idea of what to shoot for the daily photo, and then my camera battery died so I put it off until today. One of her ideas was “the contents of the box nearest you”—which was a great prompt, because the box nearest me was not one for sealing up, but one for getting through the packing time. Letters and a birthday card and my address book and stationery and notebooks and pens, all good stuff. If I owe you a letter, it’s coming out of this stash.
