#augustbreak: just ordinary

This year the sunsets have been very unimpressive compared to the stunners I saw in 2011. But I like them anyway, even if they’re only weakly colorful, because they come with this view that I won’t have for very much longer. I know these trees and the other houses so well it’s as if I’ve always lived here.

It's funny how a view can be engraved on your mind. I have several that will always be with me. Some I really miss and it breaks my heart that I'll never gaze upon them again. I'm glad I have pictures...

This made me realize I haven't caught many sunsets ... but on the flip side, the moon has been spectacular!
